Add sweetened condensed milk, instant vanilla pudding mix, whole milk, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Fold in half of the whipped topping gently until evenly blended into the pudding mixture.

Line a 33 x 23 cm (9 x 13 inch) baking dish with a single layer of Nilla Wafers. Spread half of the banana slices evenly over the cookies.

Spread half of the prepared pudding mixture on top of the banana layer, then add another layer of Nilla Wafers.

Repeat the layering steps with the remaining banana slices and pudding mixture, finishing with pudding on top.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow flavors to meld.

Before serving, optionally top the pudding with additional Nilla Wafers and banana slices for decoration.
