03 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
06 - zest of 1 lemon
07 - 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
08 - ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

→ Garnish

09 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
10 - 1 lemon, sliced

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
02 - In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
03 - Add cod fillets to the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly with the lemon butter mixture.
04 - Place cod fillets in a 9x13-inch baking dish, pour remaining sauce over them, and arrange lemon slices on and around the fillets.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
06 - Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the baked cod and serve immediately.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Pat fillets dry with paper towels before coating to ensure flakier texture.
02 - Allow melted butter to cool slightly to prevent cooking the fish prematurely.
03 - If using frozen fish, defrost under cool running water or overnight in the refrigerator.
04 - Store leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 2 days; reheat gently in microwave or oven.
